Sell SUP Photos Online

Selling SUP photos on ONDA means uploading a session by spot and date, setting your price, and getting paid directly for every shot paddlers buy — ONDA takes 0% commission.

Updated October 2026

ONDA is the marketplace where SUP photographers sell action shots to the paddlers in them. You upload a session, tagged by spot and shooting date. Paddlers search that spot and that day, find themselves and buy. No chasing people on the beach, no sending previews by message.

Nothing comes off your price: you set the price, you keep it*. Buyers add a small service fee on top, which is how ONDA stays free for photographers. See how every platform we could verify compares in our platform round-up.

How selling SUP photos on ONDA works

Every sale is paid straight to you, by one of two routes you pick during onboarding. Where Stripe operates, sales are paid out by Stripe into your own bank account automatically. Everywhere else, paddlers pay your own PayPal account directly at checkout, so there is nothing to wait for from ONDA. Previews are watermarked, so your work is protected until it is paid for.

Why SUP photographers choose ONDA

* Card or PayPal processing fees apply, the same as on any payment you take yourself.

Start selling in three steps

  1. Create a free account. No contract, no card.
  2. Upload a session with its spot, date and sport. Watermarks are applied automatically.
  3. Paddlers search the spot and date, buy, and you are paid straight to your Stripe account or your own PayPal.

Frequently asked questions

How do I start selling SUP photos on ONDA?

Create an account, then complete onboarding — connecting the account that gets paid is one of the steps, so payouts are ready before your first sale. That account is Stripe in most countries, or your own PayPal where Stripe cannot operate. Once onboarding is done, upload your session: photos are organized by spot and shooting date, so paddlers who know where and when they were on the water can find themselves.

Do paddlers need an account to buy my photos?

No. They find their wave, tap buy, pay by card or PayPal, and download. No signup, no password.

How do I get paid?

Straight to you. Where Stripe operates, every sale lands in your own bank account automatically. Everywhere else, buyers pay your own PayPal account directly, so there is nothing to wait for from ONDA. You connect whichever applies to you once, during onboarding.

Are my photos protected before someone buys them?

Yes. Preview images carry dynamic watermarks designed to resist automated removal, with strict, standard and loose presets you choose in your account settings. Full-resolution files are only released after purchase.

Can I sell photo bundles or entire albums?

Yes. Set a price per photo, a fixed price for the whole album, or both, so buyers can grab everything from a session at once instead of paying per photo.

What does it cost to sell on ONDA?

Nothing. ONDA takes 0% commission: you set the price, you keep it. Buyers add a small service fee on top, which is how ONDA stays free for photographers — 15% of the order, capped at about €1.50, charged once however many photos they buy. Where Stripe operates, that service fee is collected at checkout: on a €10.00 photo the buyer pays €11.50, the card fee is €0.42 — the same as on any card payment you take yourself — and €9.58 lands in your account. On the PayPal route, that service fee arrives with your sale and we settle it with you in one simple monthly statement.

Which sports does ONDA support?

Surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, stand up paddle (SUP) and foiling. Sessions are tagged by sport as well as spot and date, so a kitesurfer does not have to scroll through surf galleries.

Can I sell photos from more than one country?

Yes. ONDA supports multiple currencies, so you can price sessions in the local currency wherever you are shooting — useful if you follow a season between hemispheres or shoot in more than one market.
